With us expecting our first baby this year, I feel the rush and the fear that most new fathers to be experience. At least, I hope that’s what new fathers to be experience….otherwise, I am just weird. Am I going to be a good dad? Am I prepared to take on this responsibility?

After seeing how quickly my friends children grow up, even after a few months, how am I going to remember how small their tiny hands and feet will be, their little face, how delicate they are? It’s not so much trying to immortalize the way they look, but how they were. Naturally, the photographer side kicks in and I go to what I know best, which is to document the interactions of people in love.

So it was great when I got a chance to visit Tyler and Michele to meet baby Kira for the first time. She was so calm, yet alert and wide eyed for the whole session. I am so happy that I was able to create these images of baby Kira for them. Here are just a few of my favorites.
