After our Kingston adventure and some meets here and there, Winnie and Calvin’s big day had finally arrived! The day started in Toronto where Winnie got ready with the girls. The guys arrived shortly after as they were challenged by the girls with traditional door games which were too crazy to post here =).

We then travelled to Evergreen Brickworks for some relaxed portraits which were awesome as the weather cooperated.

There are many parts of the wedding day that I always look forward to. What stood out to me the most was the beautifully intimate ceremony Winnie and Calvin had at Bayview Golf and Country Club. As Winnie’s father walked her down the aisle, I could not help but notice the look on Calvin’s face. Sure, he had already seen her in her dress while we did relaxed portraits so you would think that the surprise is no longer there, however, once you are in that position, taking the moment in when your best friend and companion is about to be given away to you…there is an undoubtedly a sense of comfort and happiness that is just right. That’s the look that Calvin had, and I was happy to capture. In any case, here are a few of the images from the day.
