So, Lucy and I just got back, well rest and well refreshed from our “baby moon”. It was so nice to be semi cut off from social media and not having to really do anything really. It gave me the time to sleep lots, focus and actually read (yay finished a book…finally!!), and go through some learning material I have been putting on the back burner for a while.
With all that, I am still a photographer, so it would be odd if I did not bring my camera. I contemplated bringing my work kit (Canon DSLR) and all that, but like I said, it’s a work kit. Besides, the Fuji X100s proved to be an awesome little camera on our recent Euro trip. Why not on the beach.
Before I go on, those of you who follow my instagram feed know that the majority of the images I post on there are from the my beloved Fuji X100s (darn I should write a review about this camera). It is the perfect every day camera. So much so that I would really really really want to use it for a professional shoot like an engagement session or wedding. As a I have been dying to come up with an excuse to use the Fuji X10s on a shoot and use it as I would if it were a commissioned shoot. This is all the gear that I packed.
Some of you may say…why pack a flash? Well..to that I answer with the following image….
love the blue skies and the blue water…but Lucy is completely dark!! But…with a little flash magic….
