I have not blogged in a little over a week…sorry! Last week was crazy busy at work, I had shoots lined up every day and night which left me exhausted! So tired that I did not have the time to go through all the photos I took at Hilda and Ryan’s beautiful wedding which took place on June 6, 2009. This wedding was special to me. Firstly, because this was my first time shooting as a second for Joee, this meant that there was an expectation for me to take great photos, which I think I did pretty well (what do you think Joee?). Secondly, because I found out the morning of the wedding that I knew Hilda and Ryan from high school! How about that?! Crazy right!?
People asked me if it was weird being a part of Hilda and Ryan’s special day as one of their photographers. I don’t think so, if anything it helped a lot as the day was filled with catching up, laughter and fun. Here are some of my favorites of the day. Congratulations Hilda and Ryan!!
Isn’t that a gorgeous Channel-set ring from Tiffany & Co. (for those of you who do not know what the rings are resting on, it’s an it was an ice cube
The girls sure had some pretty crazy door games planned.
The day was beautiful and sunny. Perfect for the outdoor ceremony at the Angus Glenn Golf Club.
The following mini set is my favorite from the wedding. Don’t they look so good together?!
i would have never guessed it was an ice cube..
Bro, you rocked this wedding ! I’m very proud of you. You’ve come a long way, young grasshopper. It was a blast, that’s for sure.
That ring shot is killer !!!
Here’s my blurb on the wedding, for those who are interested: http://jwphotography.ca/blog/blog/jw-weddings/hilda-ryan-2/
