Seems like a long time coming but we are finally here. Jerina and Amit’s finale wedding day. This is day 4 so by this time, I was already familiar with their friends and family who were so nice and kind. I have mentioned this before, there is something about weddings that involve multi day coverage that makes for a different experience. I am able to see the connections between close family and friends more clearly. Family and friends are much more comfortable having a camera around which makes my task of documenting the event as genuine as possible. all the more easier and I love that.
Like I said before, I met Amit while I was working retail. It was a commission based job so you can automatically imagine how the experience shoppers would get when they entered the store. This unfortunately did not work well with me. I have to admit that I was terrible at my job. Being a shy sale man works as much as ……
However, I was lucky to have met a few individuals who shared similar values as I. Amit was one of those individuals who inspired and taught me that sales was not about making the commission or getting people to buy stuff they did not need. It was all about developing a connection and relationship with the customers, which in turn translated into a mutual trust and respect. Something I strive to achieve with all my couples when I started Fungke Images.
This just works for me because I care a lot about the images, albums and overall experience I provide for my couples, and it’s that connection that needs to be established that goes a long way. I have a lot of people to thank for inspiring me and Amit it one of those people.
So I am so honoured to have the opportunity to document his special day with the love of his life, Jerina.
Here are some images from his amazing wedding celebration, congrats guys.
